When she was in Destiny’s Child, she was the quote unquote, “gospel girl” because she learned how to sing and developed her voice in the church and then became, you know, the one of the badass women singing survivor on the mic and doing her thing up on the stage. And I love Michelle, and have always loved Michelle. And she recently came out with a book called “Checking In” about what she calls overcoming her struggles with mental health. Michelle also has had an illustrious and lovely solo career. For those of you who don’t know because you have terrible taste in music perhaps, Michelle Williams is a member of one of the most important girl groups of all time: Destiny’s Child. I think the 13-year old version of me would literally smile his braces off and need to get them re tightened or reapplied because I am welcoming the incredible and legendary Michelle Williams to the pod.
